Home About this Journal

JISANH publishes research articles as full-length research papers and short reports. In addition, the journal publishes Opinion paper, Letter to the editor and review papers.

Full-length research paper (Max 5000 words excluding references, figures and legends to figures)
These must describe science that will be of benefit to the community and are judged according to originality, quality of scientific content and contribution to existing knowledge.

Short Reports (Max 1500 words excluding references, figures and legends to figures, Max 2 figures)
Short Reports are concise but complete papers that present information on topics of exceptional novelty, significance, and broad interest to readers of the JISANH.

Opinion Paper (Max 1500 words excluding references, figures and legends to figures, Max 2 figures)
The Opinion paper is to describe within a short space a small number of significant and interesting facts about a topic in the world of oxidative stress, redox system & antioxidants. While articles are meant to be current, the audience is meant to be broad. Thus, an article should be readable by scientists working on a completely different field, and they should avoid details relevant only to insiders in a field. Rather they should summarize succinctly the key exciting and important facts on a topic at a level that would allow it to be used in a graduate course.

Letter to the editor (Max 800 words excluding references, figures and legends to figures, Max 2 figures)
Letter to the editor are intended to provide a formal outlet for the discussion of significant aspects of interpretation of research findings associated with specific articles published JISANH. They are designed to ensure that readers obtain a balanced view of a scientific or meta-scientific/policy question, especially in areas of debate/controversy.

Review Paper (Max 4000 words excluding references, figures and legends to figures)
These are peer-reviewed articles on rapidly advancing or topical areas in oxidative stress, redox system & antioxidants fields and of broad interest to the entire community. Generally such pieces will canvass briefly any existing literature on a particular topic and speculate on future directions of this course of study.
